General terms and conditions
ARTICLE 1: Booking
Registration can be made by telephone, e-mail, via the website or at the Base Nautique reception desk. Registrations will only be taken into account once we have received the booking form, duly dated and signed by the parents or legal guardian in the case of a minor, or by the trainee him/herself in the case of an adult. Any registration not accompanied by payment for the service will not be considered effective.
ARTICLE 2: Responsibility of the structure
Trainees will be looked after by the Base Nautique for the duration of the activity. Before handing over their children, parents must ensure that the activity is taking place, and must collect their children at the end of the activity. La Base Nautique is no longer responsible for trainees once the activity has ended.
La Base Nautique declines all responsibility for loss or theft of objects on its premises (changing rooms, reception hall, terrace, etc.).
ARTICLE 3: Structure commitments
As part of the chosen service, La Base Nautique undertakes to comply with the quality charter of the various federations with which it is affiliated (quality of welcome, teaching, supervision and safety standards). La Base Nautique undertakes to provide trainees with suitable equipment in good condition, in order to guarantee the highest level of service.
ARTICLE 4 : Trainee's obligations
By registering for a service at the Base Nautique, trainees or their parents accept the risks involved in taking part in the activities provided under the appropriate conditions. Trainees undertake to respect the safety instructions of the DSI (Surveillance and Intervention System) and those given by the supervisors.
ARTICLE 5: Insurance
SEML Saint Jean Activités is insured for civil liability. All participants should check that their personal insurance covers their chosen activity. We draw your attention to the importance of taking out personal accident insurance.
Individual accident insurance :
In accordance with regulations, we inform you of the amount of cover provided by the insurance:
Insurance option: Medical expenses: €762.25* - Death: €22,867.35 - Total or permanent disability: €30,489.80.
Rate per person: €1

 I subscribe to an individual accident insurance at the rate of 1 euro
 I refuse to take out individual accident insurance.
ARTICLE 6 : Cancellation conditions
- Trainee :
Any cancellation less than 15 days before the start of the service and not justified, cannot give rise to a refund (authentic document to be provided).
- Weather :
When a session is cancelled by the instructor due to unsuitable weather conditions, it may be replaced by a theory course. When several sessions are cancelled reimbursement will only be made if rescheduling is impossible.
- Refunds :
All cancelled sessions are rescheduled as a priority. If this is not possible, we will reimburse you directly by crediting your bank account (using your credit card) when you arrive at the Base Nautique reception desk.
ARTICLE 7: Image rights
All participants in the event grant the organizers the right to record and film all or part of their participation in the event, and to use the various media for the promotion of the resort, without any financial claim.
ARTICLE 8: Parental authorization
I, the undersigned legal guardian of the minor(s), hereby authorize the minor(s) to participate in the activities of the Saint Jean de Monts Nautical Center and authorize the Nautical Center to provide all medical and surgical care in case of emergency.
ARTICLE 9: Parental authorization
I, the undersigned legal guardian, hereby certify that I and/or the persons enrolled in the activities have no medical contraindications to the practice of sand yachting, sailing, surfing/paddleboarding, kayaking or kitesurfing.
La Base Nautique asks participants to report any medical problems (heart problems, epilepsy, asthma, etc.).
Furthermore, in the case of sailing, surf/paddle, kayak and kite surfing, I certify that I can immerse myself and swim at least 50 m (25 m for under-16s).
